CHADWICK LAKES

This was taken at a place which seems to be like a river. However in Malta is no rivers, and the name chadwick 'LAKES' is also misleading because this is not a real lake. It is just a big valley with water barriers so that rain water is gathered as seen here in small pools. This was formed after a heavy rain-storm which lasted for about 5 days in Malta from the 15th of September.

This is a wonderful place along the countryside at West of Malta, limits of Rabat. Mtahleb is very known for its wonderful sunsets. The photo is in fact in shade of orange and brown since it was taken some minutes before the setting of the sun. I remember this day was a very romantic day for me and Malin ;-)

RAMLA BAY / GOZO

Here is a photo me at the beach. Here I am at one of my favourite bays of the Maltese Islands, a reddish/golden sandy beach at the NorthEast coast of Gozo which is called "ir-Ramla l-Hamra" (meaning the reddish sandy bay). SAN BLAS BAY, GOZO

Another wonderful bay called San Blas Bay which is very near (and quite similar) to Ramla Bay at Gozo. Here is a photo of me and Malin just before descending a very steep slope to arrive down at the sandy bay with crystal green/blue sea water. SAINT GEORGE FEAST FIREWORKS

This was a photo taken during the fireworks at the eve of the local feast of Saint George at the village of Qormi. Local village feasts and fireworks are an old and popular tradition in Malta which attracts many many tourists.

A lovely pizza taken from an open air restaurant called Pasta, pizza e Pasta at Balzan. Here I am with my friends that I used to be at the university with some 5 years ago, and of course together with Malin who had just completely moved from Finland to Malta to live together with me.
