Back to Czech Republic, but this time we are not in Prague, but on the way of another beautiful town called Karlovy Vary. Part of it is shown in the photo here, taken on the coach during our trip to this place.

This is the wonderful street along the calm river to go to the center of Karlovy Vary old city. Autumn trees, mirror river, wonderful background scene, flowers by teh river bank, ancient decorated houses, quite peaceful place all make this city a wonderful one

Incredible detail and fine architecture. I wonder from where they used to get patience to construct such buildings.

One of the things that Karlovy Vary (and most Prague) is well-known for is the Crystal Glass. just before we went down to visit Karlovy Vary, the coach stopped us near this shop. Its true that the prices were a bit dear, but I believe they are worth every penny since most items are made up off genuine crystal and are fine and delicate.

One other important things in Karlovy Vary, is of course, its Natural Sping Gysers. This is one of the smaller springs in this building. They had a special mechanism with a tap like structure so that one can fill bottles, jars or glasses with this water to carry and drink. What special about this warm water is that it is said to have medical properties for many diseases in particular for people suffering cancer. In fact there were many old people drinking here. I too tasted the water which I found a little disgusting since it was sour and salty, Due to the high mineral content that it posses.

This passage, probably leading to some houses in the forest, attracted my attention. The high trees cover the passage and you can see the beams of the sun through the branches. It was a very beautiful place, something which you hardly can see in Malta.
