PHOTO GALLERY:
Miscellaneous photos from our Holiday in Gozo
March 2004

Page Description

This photogallery consists of many photos from a holiday to Gozo that I and my girlfriend Malin did between 18-21 March 2004. The photos are mostly taken for a special planned event that is a long walk of about 12-14km we made around the Eastern Coast of Gozo with our friends Simone Camilleri and her boyfriend Piotr from Ludz. The walk started from Hondoq ir-rummien, to Ras il-Qala, ghar dorf, Dahlet Qorrot, San Blas, Mistra Rocks, ir-Ramla, and finally Marsalforn. This walk took us 6 hours, and was a mixture of exercise, adventure, wonderful views and fun.

This particular page contains other photos apart from the walk, taken during our holiday in Gozo between 18th to 21st March. I and Malin visited many beautiful places in Gozo such as Xlendi and the high cliffs, Victoria, capital city of Gozo, Marsalforn (where we had our hired flat), coast of Nadur area (south of Gozo) known as tac-Cawl, Hondoq ir-Rummien, Gharb, and San Dimitri Chapel.

This is the narrowest street I ever passed from in Malta. It is situated somewhere in Victoria center. It is less from a meter wide That round gridded thing at the right part of the photo is a shelter used long time ago during the Second World War II.

A cute little white cat that attracted the attention of passer bys. The flash of the camera made its eye shine!

This type of jellyfish had two types of tentacles, the thick, short and purple ones, and the fine, thread-like, long ones which where about 2 metres long. View the large photo to have a better and detailed view of this creature

this is the chapel of San Dimiti, located in the open countryside of Gharb. This chapel was indicated in our map so we decided to visit it. It is a plain chapel with nothing much interesting, so as it is understood that its importance lies in some old tradition or myth. A photo of the inside is also included
