The belts and idler tyre
solved the REW / FF problem, but I was a bit puzzled why the STOP would not
come into opertaion |
|
|

Well it was not that
much problem! The Stop microswitch button was broken. Replaced and the stop
was working fine again |

Like most other VCR by
this owner, after mechanical part was solved, the video head prooved to be
faulty. The picture was quite snowwy and the tracking could not be adjusted. |

I repaced a new video
but there where still picture and tracking problems, but not much as with the
previous head. I tried to adjust the control/audio head screws and the rabbit
alignment rollers but this did never produced a faithful steady picture. Even
after 2 hours trying to coincide the 5 setting (left tape guide roller, right
tape guide roller, 3 screws on Audio / control head) no progress, |
