Not much to say with
this fault because I was lucky to find the solution on the internet repair
database. It was stated that R1001 on the main PCB board must be replaced |

This was a 0.39Ohm
fusible resistor in the power Regulation circuit which gave a reading of 22kohm. I placed a
0.7Ohm resistor instead and the Video came back to life. |

If the resistor was
placed with a higher value (eg 2 Ohms) it would get very hot and may burn
out. This is due Power Theorem of POWER = I2 R, larger R, More
power as heat is dissipated. |
