SEASIDE AT GHAJN TUFFIEHA CLIFFS - Nov 2003 - My Personal Photo Album (pic02) |
|
Here I am with my girlfriend, Malin, during one of our usual Sunday afternoon outings around the beautiful country side or sea side of Malta. This photo was taken at the rocky sea side by the cliffs at GhajnTuffieha, a zone known as "Tal-Mejjiesa", few metres away from the old Ghajn Tuffieha hotel, now battered down so that a new one will be rebuilt. We were very relaxed by the sea after a relatively long and uneasy walk through the cliff boulders and rocks.

VILLA MDINA - Jan 2004 - My Personal Photo Album (pic05) |
|
I and Malin at a luxury Villa in Naxxar called Villa Mdina. We were invited at a staff party organized by one of the leading catering services in Malta - the Busy Bee. I have nothing to do with catering or Busy Bee, but the electronic shop that I repair things for, Codem Systems, is a subsidiary branch of the Busy Bee holdings. The Directing manager of Codem invited me and my girlfriend to come for this party.

MALIN's WORK MATES - Jan 2004 - My Personal Photo Album (pic07) |
|
Here we have Malin's best work mates which work for an online betting company called Fixed Odds. Actually these are the two other girls, Louise (opposite to Malin) and Charice, becasue the other guys are the corresponding boyfriends. On this cold January evening, we went to eat at a Mongolian Restaurant in Bugibba, and I must say that I really liked the system of dining. It was a buffet, where you select the ingredients, spices and sauces from a large variety, and the chef will fry them for you either with rice or noodles. When ready the waiter brings your own made plate on the table. Since it is a buffet, you can go several times and select different ingredients. I think I deserve a sponsor from the management of restaurant after this nice advert !

STONE HUT - Jan 2004 - My Personal Photo Album (pic08) |
|
On one fine sunny Sunday during January, I an Malin went without any plans to the island of Gozo. One of the places we visited was a hill situated opposite to the church of "Ta' Pinu". Half way the hill there was this curious stone room or hut (call it whatever you want) where we decided to take a photo.

THE AZURE WINDOW - Jan 2004 - My Personal Photo Album (pic09) |
.jpg) |
This was another place we visited during our Sunday we spent at Gozo. This place is located at the west coast of Gozo, called Dwejra. One of the main sites here is this wonderful natural rock structure called teh Azure Window. It is like a window from which you see the deep blue (azure) Mediterranean Sea. It was a wonderful site and a photo here was inevitable.

SUNSET DREAMS IN GOZO - Jan 2004 - My Personal Photo Album (pic00) |
|
Here is some photography-atristic creative work. I named this artwork as Sunset Dreams in Gozo. It was such a wonderful, perfect day in Gozo and this unforgettable sunset at Xlendi was the cherry of the cake. This day composed of wonderful sunshine, fresh air, countryside, adventure, laughter, good food, and love has passed quickly like a dream. More photos during this day can be seen by clicking here. You must view the image in its full size to see the artistic effect of the picture.
