Inside the garden there is also these arabesque turrets
decorated according to the style of the Chinese pagodas.
They are made with bricks and edged with pumice lava. They
were built for the will of an english noblewoman Florence
Trevelyan, who, being ornithologist, in those turrets delighted
in studying the birds. |

A fountain which had this large plant that made enormous
leaves. (The veined leaves measured nearly a metre long.)

Souvenir shops are all over Taormina. Some have some educative
souvenirs like the faces of these Gods. Taormina should
hence be a Goddess |

Quite common in Taormina are these small statues with pouring
potable spring water. Many were thirsty today! |
