A protection relay
switch was triggered due to a fault in the circuit. This made it impossible
to inspect the TV circuit since it was turned off. |
|
|
3 |
The relay switch was
bypassed and an arch in the focus anode at the CRT plate was noted. On
inspecting the trippler it was found to be cracked. |

|

The Trippler was
replaced, and protection relay was not triggered, resulting in a good line

|
5 |
A digital to analogue
converter IC (TDA 8442) was replaced but did not solved
the problem. |

6 |
The Microprocessor was
then replaced (SDA 2011 A005) and finally the Sound and Raster were obtained.

Then it was noted that
the remote control was not functioning and the fault was in the IR receiving
circuit of the TV, since a new remote control was used. This fault is still
not fixed since the TV is not being used. |
