The RF input socket of
the tuner was broken out of place. This was soldered back in place, and it
was quite akward to perform this job. |

On testing the TV, no
stations were being received except the 2 VHF ones. The tuner was under
suspect, since the aerial was proved to be OK. |

Finally, I decided to
make automatic tuning and channel search, and the stations were being
received. It seemed that the TV lost all UHF (but not VHF) stations from
memory. The stations were re-rogrammed back. |
