The noisy volume was
fixed instantly by applying contact cleaning spray on the volume and EQ
sliders |
|
|

The tuning problem was
due the fact that the tuning string broke and split up. This was joined back
by using the 2-knots at end method and mounted it along the pathway for
making it tight enough to change the variable tuning capacitor when turning
the tuning knob. |

Additionally the motor
belts were changed and a general service & cleaning was given to the set. |
