Since the picture on
playing a video was perfect the suspect imediately fell on the Tuner-IF can |

This was further
confirmed when on spraying freezing spray in the tuner,
the picture came ok for few minutes. |

On opening the tuner to
check its electrolytic capacitors, it was found that all components are
surface mount/nertz type and no further repair could be made |
|
|
|
|

Other electrolytic
capacitors on the main board which were near the tuner where checked and
found to be ok. |
|
|
|
|
5 |
The tuner was replaced
from Mirald Electronics. The fault was solved, the tuner was faulty. |
