Full repair description and observations |

1 |
The main quarrel about the TV was the
shivering picture, which I believed was the 470uF, 10V capcitor in the tuner.
I replaced this capacitor, but there was no improvement at all. |

|

Then I replaced the whole tuner, to be sure
that the shivering was from the tuner not some sync problem. The picture, but
also the sound, came perfectly good with the replaced tuner. |

Later on, it was discovered that there is a
pot in the tuner box, which controls the volume gain. When the pot was
adjusted the sound came high on testing this tuner on another Grundig |

Regards the shivering, I replaced the other
electrolytics, and resoldered most points fro possible dry joints, but no
success yet… maybe the tuning ICS?! |

I paid LM5 for repair of
the tuner, but it is still not repaired (I don’t know what he did to it, I
presume nothing but just got the LM 5 for nothing else than resoldering some
dry joints) |
