Since the problem is only when the stations
are viewed, but not when viewing, I believed that the tuner needs to be
replaces, while the sound output fault was due something in the sound IC and
circuitry |

When I went to HE Electronics to ask for the
tuner, and explained the symptom, he assured me that the tuner was OK, but
the IC TDA4502a was the fault. |

I replaced the IC (using also a base to make
the work more neet) and the fault was cured |
