The disk drive was carefully dis-assembled, and the problem was easliy
spotted. The motor belt was melted. |
|

It was removed and cleaned from
the motor pulley by acetone |

A new replacement of the belt
(70mm diameter x 3mm thick) made the diskdrive work again |
