Photos WIED IZ-ZURRIEQ Malin's holiday in Malta - Sat 21 Sep Here is Malin, my adorable penfriend.... Photo taken at a small southern town called Zurrieq, and this is a quite popular site where one can hire a luzzu (those small blue boats) and go visiting the wonderful Blue grotto about a km away MISTRA + BAY Malin's holiday in Malta - Tue 17 Sep Here is one of my favourite countryside+sea site called Mistra. Walking about 1 or km along the beach or cliffs is another wonderful beach, shown below. It was quite hot today, and we spent about 10mins with our feet submerged in the sea shown here to cool down a bit. St. PAUL's ISLANDS Malin's holiday in Malta - Tue 17 Sep This is a photo of Saint Paul islands, the 4th important island of the 5 Maltese islands. It is believed that the apostle Saint Paul has shipwrecked on this island in 60AD. The photo was taken from Mistra rocky beach, shown above, and here the blue-ness of the sea can be seen better. BAHRIJA Malin's holiday in Malta - Sat 14 Sep This is another high place in the peacefulness of the countryside at one side, and the relaxing waves of the sea on the other side. It is a place known as Bahrija, limits of Rabat. We enjoyed this place too, especially by the panorama and cool breeze of the sea. BUGIBBA Malin's holiday in Malta - Sat 14 Sep This is one of the famous touristic places in Malta. In Summer, it would be full of tourists roaming around. There are many hotels, restaurants, pubs, entertainment clubs, discos, even a Casino, and of course the beautiful beach. Here is the first time Malin saw our blue sea and was quite impressed by it. Blonde hair and blue beaches match really well :-) QAWRA Malin's holiday in Malta - Sat 14 Sep After 2 kms walk from Bugibba, we arrive at the neighbouring place called Qawra, again as touristic and developed as Bugibba. In this open air restaurant by the beach, we had a nice, well-sized pizza There weren't much people, so it was quite nice stay. BIRZEBBUGA Malin's holiday in Malta - Sat 21 Sep Here we are taking a little launch at a place called BirZebbugia, located at the South East of the island. Malin likes a lot candies and chocolate trifles, as you can see !! :-) BIRZEBBUGA Malin's holiday in Malta - Sat 21 Sep She also liked very much our unique and traditional sour-sweet soft drink called Kinnie. I think 75% of the drinks she ordered where Kinnie !
