Self-made Games of the Past
This is a set of 24 playing cards which I made long time ago, about the age of 13 years of age. I and my friends really liked the gobots toys, and I decided to make playing cards of these robot transforming figures. I took the idea from the TopTrumps playing cards, but I admit that they did not came as professional as the original ones (of course)!!! I used to play with these cards quite often with my friends, especially with my best friend Brian. I was very happy with them, since I made them myself.
The small picture beside the robot is the vehicle which the gobot is supposed to transform to, while the F or E at the top corner indicates if the gobot is a Friend or Enemy type (I for Insect subtype) ! The starting card was TopDozer for friend or Scorpos for enemy (it would be decided by players before the game if it would be an enemy or friend card to start with.)
My favourite cards were TopDozer, Scorpos, Antor and Attacker. Click on the thumbnail image to enter the slideshow. Then click on arrow left or arrow right for previous or next pic respectively, or the arrow up to exit the slideshow and return to this page
