These are wonderful Paintings from the bible or Saint history, drawn by quite famous artists several hundred of years ago and found in almost all old churches in Malta. This example is found inside the ceiling of the church of Kirkop. Our cathedrals such as that in Valletta and Mdina, and old churches like those in BirKirkara, Qormi, Cospicua, and many more are enriched which such invaluable paintings

Architecture in Malta is also found abundantly, and in various styles and ages, back from the Medieval ages. This is a Gothic style window at Mdina, which probably was build when the Vikings ruled in Malta long time ago (16th century).

This is one of the most famous churches, situated in Gozo. It is said that people who pray in this church is relieved from his sickness or gets what he prays for by means of a miracle. It is a beautiful church, and the architecture style is Gothic (pointed edges and lots of symmetry involved).

This is a collection of Maltese butterflies found in the Natural Museum situated in Mdina. Although not very large or colorful as in other places of the world, there are a quite number of butterflies, especially in Spring time in Malta. The white ones are the most common, and the caterpillar is green in colour.

This is a common wild animal - the Maltese Lizard or 'gremxula' in Maltese. This is the male species, the female is more brownish and less colourful. This lizards have a strange self defence mechanism from their predator, mainly cats and birds. Under attack, their tail drops off, and it starts to wiggle and twist rapidly. Eventually, this attracts the eye of the predator and catches the fallen tail, leaving the lizard free to escape.

Here is a very nice place both in Summer (to swim) and also in winter. There are beautiful, high and easy to climb cliffs around the wild countryside in this area. Ideal for a walk in winter, with the relaxing sound of sea-waves in the air.

One of the 14 watch towers around Malta and Gozo built by the Knights of saint John. Their purpose was to watch for arrival of any enemy by sea. Here the person in charge in the tower would see enemy coming from West side of Malta, since Ghajn Tuffieha is situated at the West/North West of Malta
