This bird was photographed in the garden around Malin's house. I don't know what it is called since I am not expert in Birds.

This is one of my favourite birds. They are very swift, and walk instead of hop. They have a long tail which goes up and down. They are often found running on the grass catching insects. They are also quite tame and cab remain up to few metres away from you without getting scared and fly off.

These are a type of wild ducks which I seen several times at the shore or sea near the summer cottage in Larsmo. These are quite timid and swims away when they see you.

This is also one of my favourite birds in Finland - the Seagull. For many it is a common un-noticed bird but I admire it mostly when it floats and glide in the sky without flapping its wings. They also have a funny scream (like two old ladies shouting at each other) and their eyes are somehow funny too

These are two photos of a cute squirrel that I saw while walking in the forest at Larsmo near the summer cottage. Fortunately I had the camera with me so that I could take some photos of it.

This is the largest mushroom I ever seen so far. It is edible, but one must check if is already infested with larvae (worms). There is a certain type of flying insect which deposits its eggs in old mushrooms and eventually hatch inside and feed on the mushroom material itself. I had time to make the photos of the bjorksopp interactive in a image-map format. You can click on any of the 11 photos in the picture above for a larger image.

This was a very calm and tame hare that I saw in kopmanholmen. I thought that upon noticing us, it will just jump and run away. Instead it remained there eating grass! I managed to move slowly towards it up to about 8 - 10 metres away without scaring away.
