STOCKHOLM-31 Vasa and Stockholm (Jun/03) |

This is one of the largest building in the centre of Stockholm. Malin said that this is the Parliament house where important decisions about the country are taken. If I was a minister I would need a tour-map since I would get lost very soon in this enormous thing.

Close up of the front part (main door) of the Parliament. From the size of the door, it is not difficult to believe that big-headed people enter this place!

Here we are in Sergel Square with this strange structure and quite large fountain. Behind is one of the largest office complex buildings. All this street contained such large buildings and office complexes. Here it was very busy with lots of cars and people in streets.

This is Jakob's church, one of the main churches in Stockholm. One can notice that it differs in structure from many churches in Stockholm in the fact that the tower is not squarish and pointed top, but more domed shape and roundish alike roman churches in middle/south Europe.

This is another church which once you are in Stockholm, it is impossible not to notice, since it is large, high and beautiful. This is the Riddarholms church which means the Knight's Island Church. If you are wondering what the 'island' has to do - then I reveal you that this is because this church is all built on a small island. As you can see there are many small domes and a tall tower with a metal structure at the top which resembles a little the Eifel tower in Paris.

This is an impressive large Church of Saint Klara. The light green roof, which once was bronze and the red-brown brick really contrast well. The church have very detailed structures and so it makes it very beautiful to observe.

This is the Royal castle of Sweden where the King, Queen and the royal family lives. At about noon there will be a music playing by the guards here at the 'yard'. followed by a small parade and exchange of guards. All this always attract many tourist, including me and Malin.

MARSTA-40 Vasa and Stockholm (Jun/03) |

Before going to Stockholm we stopped for a few minutes to Visma Services at Marsta. This was the place where Malin used to work for these last 5 years. This photo is actually her office! I had the opportunity to get to know her work mates who where really nice. I met the following people (girls): Matilda, Carina, Carin, Margareta, Andrea, Yvonne and Maggy. They are all nice, educated and kind persons
