This photogallery consists of many photos during our 8 days vacation in Tampere, South of Finland. We have visited numerous places mostly nature areas like Pyynikki, Viikin Island (Viikinsaari), and Seitseminen Nature reserve, but also large shopping complex (Ideapark) the well known amusement park of Sarkanniemi, and a number of churches in central Tampere such as Alexander church, the cathedral and the old church. We spent many hours bathing in cool-water lakes (example Kaukajarvi) and roaming in the streets of Tampere centre.

A rose garden is found at Tampere arboretum, with about 100 different varieties. From the cafeteria, one can have a list of all rose varieties found in this garden. This vivid pink rose was marvellous. Dedicated to Miranda!

I was also impressed with the deep red colour of this rose variety. This variety is dedicated to me.

I dedicated my wife one of the most beautiful rose varieties there was in the garden - I nvere seen such a beuty - vivid purple-red roses with a white centre.

If I had time, I would have photographed almost all varieties of roses as they all had something peculiar and fascinating. However it was raining so I just took photos of these 3 favourites.

Miranda first time holding a large umbrella on her own during our stay at Tampere Arboretum. I really like this photo where Miranda is so concentrated as if she is an adult!

After a long period that Miranda used to cry or get scared when pointed by a camera (and as well drive pappa angry) finally she is again 'friendly' with my Canon digicamera and actually she also started to <b>pose</b> and obey my instructions. The reward she would like to have for posing is simply to see the photo just taken (and big loud laughs are expected shortly after!!!)

In this photo I am trying to show how large the leaves of this plant (Pedecites species) is, almost as Miranda body. She is siuated just under (or very close to) the leaves

When it is feeding time for Martyn, Miranda often start to act as a pest, by hitting Martyn or tug-of-war with mamma's hair. As one can see from the image. mamma is not very entertained by that. However, after discipline instructions, Miranda apologize with her remarkable kisses! (remarkable becasue they are particulary wet and feel cold)

Numerous pathways in Tampere arboretum. I really recommend this place for a walk. These is also a Cafeteria but we doshed almost 7 euro for two normal coffee and 2 doughnuts!
